[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There are still a few bales left in the fields from the summer harvest. The seasons are a little later on the high Moors.
This is an image cropped from a shot taken at the top end of the 80-400 lens to improve the composition, so the resolution is probably not the best.
Taken in RAW colour and converted to BW and slighly tinted with a warm filter effect.

Dartmoor images will always catch my eye.
A magical place where ever or at what ever the time of day.
I like the positioning of the skyline, good proportions.

Hi Les,

A splendid choice for the composition in B/W, When the sky is gray .
Normally for landscape focal length of 50 mm is ideal, but here the result obtained is perfect for the composition.
Very nice landscape, TFS.

Hi Les
beautiful B&W picture. nice lone tree in the fields, well place in the composition and nicely framed.

Hello Les, an appealing shot of Dartmoor; the b/w treatment works well.
I was going to say timeless, but we haven't always had plastic covered bales!
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Les,
I like this B&W presentation of this landscape shot.
The solitaire tree is, of course, the focal point which is well balanced by the pointed mount on the left.
A lovely and pleasant composition.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Hi Les, looked at this three times and still cant say why I like it... I just do...Would love to be out in the bg there. Fiona
