[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For my contribution for the theme, the picture is of a moth known as 'The Jersey Tiger'.
A surprise visitor to our garden in August, the moth was hiding amongst the foliage in dappled light on this particular day.If we hadn't seen it flying across the garden I am sure that we would never have spotted it.

"The moth flies by day as well as at night and its bright red or orange hindwing often causes it to be mistaken for a butterfly.[Not visible here, as the wings are closed.] It lives in Southern and Central Europe, but only in Devon in Britain.
Lives in light woodland and scrubby places, including gardens and orchards; prefers dry places.
Eats dandelion, plantains and other low growing plants."

Perhaps not the best angle, but I was intent on getting any shot I could of this rare visitor.
Thanks for looking.

Cant say i've seen this one before, no doubt its been near me but not spotted it.
Neat mix of light and shade cascading down the greenery here.
Have a peaceful weekend, if not a dry one.
