|Thick, dark, impenetrable, wet and mountainous. This is the rain forest in Guadeloupe. If not for the rough hiking trails, like the one that is shown in the photo, no one could even imagine of traversing this fascinating place. |
There are no large mammals in these forests, unlike in the neighboring mainland Central America. There are many varieties of birds, but they are not easy to spot in the thick jungle, one only hears them.
This photo was taken on a hike to a waterfall. One of the hardest hikes that I have done in my life.

Hi, Sunil. Looks like a wet forest with ferns and some wooden steps. Need a machete to cut through the vegetation. Sharpness, green lush foliage have been captured with your trademark frame. I did a similar tough hike this summer in Colorado to hanging lake waterfall. Cheers.

I do like the minimal light of offer here to give the thick undergrowth more or a menace.
reminds me of the track in the amazon jungle of Peru. splendid display of rain forest. fine path to lead-in.
