[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am currently in a modus to plan my next vacation. I am still wondering if it will be a photography trip, or more a standard vacation. The difference is of course planning, locations, time frame and what equipment to bring.

My modus also brought be back to my wonderful photography trip to the Lofoten two years ago. And thus a photo from that trip in late winter 2011. Yes, late winter as this high north the winter doesn't really end until half May.

This was an early morning shoot where the sun had enough power to break up the clouds and do its magic on the distant mountains.

Tripod, hot shoe spirit level, remote, lee filter set.

Hi Niek, one of those times when I dont mind the horizon in the middle..I like the little patches of blue sky and the light left on the mountain tops. Fiona

Hello Niek, this shot gives us a really good impression of how it feels to be in this location. The dark brooding mountains on the r/h/s and the light trying to break through the clouds.
A lovely picture with an excellent DoF.
Regards Jean.

Bom dia Niek.
A memorable photo besides being a gorgeous, charming and unforgettable scene.
Striking DOF.

I love the crisp, coldness felt with this scene, the detail and depth is one of perfection.
The clouds make it for me.

Hello Niek

A spectacular image here. A gallery piece for sure. The snow capped mountains with hint of blue sky make for a dreamy image. Very Very nice. One of the better images I have seen of late.
