[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This image of steam locomotive mechanics clearly demonstrates the pliability of metal in mans hands from the push rods, cranks, wheels and the rail it runs on

Hi Doug
An excellent shot that has been photographed really well. I do feel the shot is a little pale. I think an adjustment of levels would improve the image.
If you don't mind I'll do a workshop to see if it does improve it.

I am assuming this is for the theme week, so have added it to the page.
Its metal for sure, a very good addition it is too. We have a steam railway line outside our house so see this image manytime a day.
I like the closeness and the crop, you get us to see with no distractions.

stv ;o))

Hi Doug
good close up and fine crop. splendid display of metal structures/items. good handling of light on the shining metal.

Hi Doug.
Yes great use of mans skill with metal in your photo.
Miss them on the rails but not in the cities.
Cheers Dave

Bonjour Doug,

Good contribution to the theme. In effect a lot of metal, from shinny to rusted. Good work and TFS

Bonjour Doug
A very impressive shot of Heavy metal
Nice tones,I agree with Bob to give a little more density (- 20% gamma +12% contrast for instance) but with a little less contrast than his ws.I join one too.
bon week-end
