[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For portraits I am moving to film. I am now taking Digital, Color Film and Black and white Film for each pose. This is a shot from my Epson Scanner which works well in small formats but for larger prints I am deferring to a Lab with an Imacon Scanner.

I like the grain pattern both in black and white as well as color film. I get the feeling that the Dynamic Range is greater in the medium format. I have tried to get an answer to this question but haven't got it as yet. The surface area of the medium format is about 4 times that of a full frame digital sensor and this may make a difference.

Well executed portrait in black and white. I like the sideways lighting and positioning of exposed side of the model mid-frame. Perfect choice of lens (focal length) for the job as well.

Hello roger. Here is a very nice portrait. I must say that you pick your models ^ ^.
The black and white is beautiful and unobtrusive light comes gently illuminate the face.
