[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of many tile mosaics on the wall of the old Choria church in Istanbul. I've reduced size from 598 mb to 236 mb and a length of 650 down from 800. Might try 700 next time to get within the 300 mb maximum upload size allowed.

Awesome capture of this religious artwork. It's not easy to photograph those murals but you did a wonderful job. Love the colors. Good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

I like the golden tones of the artwork with amazing details and contrasts, Chris!
Light is well handled and so is the exposure.
POV is nicely thought and DOF is well maintained in the picture.
I like the way this amazing artwork is filling up the whole picture in a vertical format.

Best wishes,
Paras

Hello Chris :)

He looks very nicely this the old fresco, whose gold the colour, he is the background for the painting.
The interesting and showy composition, I like him!

Best wishes...Barbara.

Hello Chris, I never fail to be amazed by mosaic art works.
This is a lovely example and you have selected a striking composition with the diagonal line running through the shot.
Taken with natural light, the colours are lovely and bright.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Chris,
Congrats with this picture, You captured very well, even mosaics' glimmer plus you had very dynamic framing.
regards
feyza
