A compelling portrait, Mariusz... Not only thanks to the facial expression of your model (her eye!), but also to the way you presented it:
- only half of the face being visible,
- the square format with a strong diagonal line in your composition,
- the heavy contrasts without a sign of over-exposure in the brighter tones,
- the shallow depth of field, making your model's face really pop out, whereas her shoulder is only suggested by a triangular - almost graphic - white area.
A portrait that stirs emotions...
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Hello Mariusz, A compelling portrait with mood and a strong element of mystery. Very good composition and quality. Best wishes.

This has certainly got impact. Mood and mystery thanks to the light, contrast and being black and white. Possibly, it may improve with the light at the bottom right being removed. I've done a workshop. What do you think?
