ISO 1000. I was shooting indoors, I hate flash, refuse to use it. I didn't sharpen photo because sometimes I think photos are OVER sharpened... and especially when going for a more soft portrait, I leave it alone.

I found this lovely lady at my son's wedding shower. I suspected she was about 65 years old... she told me she was 90! I asked to take her photo! Lovely lady, a sculptor, an artist and we hit it off right away! What a blessing!

Dear Linda,

Softer luminosity and agreeable sharpness has made this portrait impressive. Beautifully shot in natural light. And the smile is looking gorgeous. Thanks for sharing a lovely image, well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards,
Inaam

Hi Linda, you have done this lovely lady proud with this portrait.I must admit she certainly does not look 90,she must be young at heart. Just an observation not a critique,I thought perhaps she has suffered fdrom arthritis,as the joints of her fingers do look inflammed,I wonder if she still sculpts or paints or if that was in the past.I know one should never judge a book by its cover, but I see gentleness & kindness within her smile. An excellent capture of her skin tones, well taken.

This is the prove that a woman still remain beautiful and with class even with age. She cares about her ( look the lovely coat(. I like the classical pose and soft light...oh and I like her coat...90 and still fashinnable. Congratulations to her...and to you...you care too.
um abraço

This woman has a charismatic face and her elegant smile gives the picture a very special look, Linda B-)

Skin tones are natural and light is very well handled in this indoor casual portrait.
I like her clothing and the contrast you have achieved against a well blurred BG.

Thanks for sharing.

Kind regards,
Paras

Hi Linda.

A very pleasing capture, the light does her expression much justice, even the pose suits the lady. tfs

stv ;o))

Hi,I have to compliment you on this one!A perfectly natural and communicative portrait.Soft focus is perfect for almost any portrait.Best wishes,Otto.

If its okay with you I will take the liberty of adding this to my theme of old age... in spite of the fact that your title clashes with my theme but I think you will forgive me. You may or may not remember me I used to be quite active here.. it is good to see that you still publish here. Well done on your book. It sounds exciting.
Stephen.
