For theme day another picture of tanah lot temple. Tanah Lot Temple in balinese language means a temple in the sea.
Was it build connected to the main land or separated by earthquake or erosion of hundred of years, I don't know. In low tide, we can walk to the temple, though not allowed to enter the temple anymore, but in high tide, it is like a small hill with a temple in the middle of the sea. But along the wall of this temple, nature made its work through the ocean tide.

Note : WS to show how it looks like from a distance so you can imagine when low and high tide occurs.

Rgds,

Yan M

This is a very peaceful scene Yan, the soft light is perfect, and the people give the image scale.
Nice presentation.

Cheers,
Pete.

Very interesting looking natural phenomenon, excellent photo for the theme Yan, thanks..

Wonderful composition Yan! I love the light and texture. Excellent sharpness and fine details.
It looks like a printing.
Very well done: congratulations.
Also the WS shot in very good. A fashinating place. TFS!
Ciao! Vanda

Hello Yan, this seems quite a surreal scene to me, I think that it must be the colours.I am amazed by the number of people, especially as it doesn't look to be the easiest of places to walk around.
A very distinctive picture, thanks for sharing.
Thanks too for the shot in the workshop.
Regards Jean.

Hi Yan,

Excellent use of the IR filtering to add mood and spirit to the scene.
Great composition and light, and again, with the IR filtering, the details and textures of the temple and beach rocks really stand out.

The tourists wandering about the temple add to the mood of image and also add scale to the size of the temple.

Excellent shot and post processing,

Cheers

Hi Yan.

Awesome sight, amazing tones to this temple, a perfect addition to theme. I like the WS to show tidal space. tfs

stv ;o))

What an interesting place captured here, so glad you included the workshop to see the temple from another angle. The composition of your shot is stunning, as well as the colours. The dramatic sky gives the image a surreal look, it is a shot to keep looking at over and over again, with all the amazing detail.

Well for me,if there were a prize given for these themes,I would pin it on this image.A dramatic vibrant composition, those tree branch colours are so vibrant amongst the dark rocks,I can image viewing this at its full size,it must be very impressive. A beautiful vista.

what can I say?...awesome

Hi Yan,

A nice contribution to the Friday's theme, the presence of the people has an effect of scale. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the temple which has suffered the effect of erosion throught the years. The cloudy sky is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.
