Another tone mapped image (from 7 shots), to make the most of a gloomy morning.

Gravesend Town Pier to the left by the way - the world's oldest surviving cast iron pier. Due to the fact that I only had my wide angle lens with me that day, the sand in the foreground took centre stage in this shot rather than the pier.

I like the details you managed to fetch in this shot, Robert!

Good sharpness and well caught POV with nice color contrast existing within the picture.
The channels in the deposited sand leading the viewer's eye to distant vast place.
Light and exposure are beautifully handled.
