|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Taken a couple of weeks ago at the Sunderland Airshow - Two US WWII planes fly past. This was a bit of a challenge and I am pleased it came out - The Catalina sea plane is a slow moving aircraft where the P51 Mustang is a fighter, with the shutter speed slowed down to 1/200 for the movement of the props and ISO set to 200 I had to try and pan with the aircraft speed - not easy when the Mustang was traveling twice the speed of the Catalina but I think i managed it. What do you think?|
Adjusted levels, saturation and contrast in CS5 sharpened and resized for TL.

A more closer shot might work better IMHO, Brian!
The light and exposure are well handled and colors are original.
The contrast against the blue sky is well kept.
You did a wonderful job in capturing those two airplanes! And with the sun shinning? In air shows I watch in wonder when a flight of F-15s and WWII fighters flying in formation make their pass all maintaining the same speed! Great angle and dof with nice details. Very well done, tfs.

I like the mix of aircraft sent up together here, the prop look so good against your sky. I also like the positioning as we see little like this, welldone. tfs

It's a nice snapshot looking at two different types of aircrafts. Light sky and light painting on the planes is looking interesting. Nice placement in frame. A beautiful shot, well done. Thanks for sharing.
