My last image from Capitola Village,. maybe.... Here is a view of the village and Fishing Whraf taken from Stockton Ave. bridge. Took advantage of the cloudy sky to have photos with soft light and no harsh shadows. PP work included blurring the bridge fence barrier in the FG... Enjoy

Another well taken shot from the same location with good control on contrast and exposure, Vic!

The picture is razor-sharp and colors are original.
POV and DOF are well done, and light is well handled too.
Involvement of cloudy sky adds drama into the scene.
Nice work!

Thanks and regards,

Hi Vic,
Quite an original POV to capture this beautiful village with its unique structure. At first sight the part of the blurred bridge at the FG was annoying me but more I see it is giving me a considerable depth into the perspective.
Beautiful well exposed white clouds that are dramatizing the picture.
Good light management.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Ciao Vic, good POV on lovely village, fantastic sky fullm of clouds, wonderful colors, excellent clarity and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Bellimo view.
Excellent color and vividness.
I was going to give a full smile ....
But before the wall is out of focus.
I can not.

I have to visit this place next time I'm in the area, it look very interesting. Nice pov and dof with nice details. Very well done, tfs.

Hi Vic, another great picture of this unique "village" -it gives a whole view how it is built - is this my imagnation or is it on purpose that it looks like a ship - which would be fitting. You do not mention this point.
Yes, I agree with Eleu and would love to visit.
Kindest regards Monika.

Hello Vic,
The village is looking interesting, I'd like to visit this place :) Interesting placement on the railing. Nice composition in over casted sky, well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Kind Regards,

I like your POV and Stockton Ave railing, just makes the eyes follow the lines. I usually eat (forgot the restaurants name)just across from the village. The patio at eatery offers a Excellent view of this village, which I will post shortly. Last time? Why?
