I appreciate the way you see the portraits so minutely and deeply, and somehow they become so pronounced and detailed that these portraits could be potential competitors to the macro shots, Roger!
I like your observation of preserving the Rembrandt effect in this shot which make this work so appealing.
The exposure is wonderful and mood is immense.
I like the bright spots in her eyes.
Thanks for sharing!

I like the soft lighting on this portrait! A lovely girl with such highlighted curly hair! Maybe a little harsh on her right cheek, well managed on the darker left cheek.
Anyhow good use of available light.

Hello Roger, an interesting pose with Mackenzie looking straight at you.Her hair on her left hand side is totally hidden, only her pearl ear-ring is visible;and the ear-ring seems to balance the shot somehow.
I don't know why, but this shot has the feel of a sepia picture.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Really like this portrait B&W of Mackenzie. With one being eye level to her, and her eyes being big and beautiful they really draw you in, connecting you with her. I like the lighting and it seems to create a mood of a photo taken a long time ago. I enjoyed this portrait very much. Thank you!

Good reflections in her eyes. Maybe I would boost the contrast a little, as the tones seem a little flat & muddy. But the lighting and composition are superb. I like the 2 toned division on her face between shadow at right & light at left. Tfs!

Bom dia Roger
A beautiful lady...your note shows taht nothing in her face is a mistery for you . You choose light and have previous attention to little details of her face. You have a great talent.
