[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken a couple of months ago at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum - one of the exhibits, a stack of floating heads with expressions.....I could have used this a couple of weeks ago too :-)

Desaturated and adjusted levels, resized for TL.

Hope you like it

Soooo different Bri,a really unusual but great entry for this weeks Theme. You handled the light well.Any chance you could post the original in your WS I would like to compare the coloured original to this one?

A well executed work with great imagination and of course commendable PP work, Brian!
Superb light and well shown different moods in the picture.
The exposure and clarity are well done, and contrast are well maintained.
Good job!

A nice entry to Friday's theme.

Greetings,
Paras

Hi Brian,
A very creative and original entry for the theme! A whole selection of funny faces hanging in the air! I like the B&W version, it has more punch!
A very sharp and contrasty image. I really like it!
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Bonjour Bri
Very good composition to show the different heads without trouble; good choice of B&W and perfect for the theme
Bon week end

Hi Brian,

This reminds me of a classic shot on TL by a member who is no longer very active, sadly.

Fantastic repetition & graphism, with good sharpness & pp work. I love the juxtaposing of expressions here from sadness to wry smugness & what looks like confusion far right. Good exposure on the highlights & a nice tonal range. Tfs!

Love it. Wonderful piece of art and photograph

Hoi Brian,

A superb contribution to the theme !! Funny to look at.

The heads themself are great, but the architecture of the museum is worth watching too.

Very good exposure and DOF. Good idea to present it in B&W.

Tfs
Joop!

Hi Brian,
A very creative and excellent entry for the theme! The B&W version works well,
sharp and well focused image. I like the B/w better than colored original. Good work & TFS

Am I dreaming? Looks like a scene from one of those Disney attraction. Love the expressions of those faces. Nicely captured with great lighting. Good pov and dof with sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Lovely crisp image. The choice of black and white was a good one - the form and texture on the illuminated faces (against the dark background) has no place for colour here.

Brian

Sophie Cave's Floating Heads are incredible.
The b&w is an excellent choice, I like the pov and the atmosphere.
Love this.
