There are TWO Monarchs here, I have no idea what they were doing, I didn't want to pry! But they were having some difficulty flying around together! We are expecting lots of rain today!

Hi Linda

It just turned June 1st here so goodbye Spring Hello Summer. The mosquitoes have been driving me crazy today. Anyway perfect sharpness on the Monarch butterfly with good use of a shallow dof. Excellent plashes of mauve from the flowers. Tfs! Might take off for Qufu tomorrow if the weather improves. Have a great weekend!

Indeed! It's springtime and love is everywhere! Nice captured of those butterflies and they should learn from dragonflies which are good flying together. Good pov and dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Ciao Linda, graet macro of fantastic couple, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Dear linda,
Nice shot you took! It is really sharp and had beautiful colours. I also like the background, it is unsharp but you can still see a color palette.
Lovely makro.

Hi Linda, spot on with your focusing, your foreground has good clarity & sharpness of details, two for the price of one,is a tough one to capture.I like your DOF with its muted bokeh in the background.I like that the butterflies are placed a little past the "Third" & that the light is hitting only one side of their wings,or was that your PP work?

Hi Linda...excellent shot...great colors and focus. Very nice.

Hi Linda.

These butterflys must be fun to phgotograph, i think it matters not what angle or direction used, I'd assume all will show their beauty off. The patterns and colours being so vivid, the pastel tones of the flower and BG help in enhancing the wings and their structure.

Do you think they were up to no good?

Stv :0))
