Very descriptive in your panoramic view, we are able to take in much of the tones from the local stone used to build this fine town. I like the way you have added the new build across the water Bah!! give me old style any day. Neat work. TFS

I like the comparison of the architectural styles-the old vs. the new. The old has more style compared to the new buildings. Good lighting and good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

I like your choice of composition, for a comparison between the Old & the New, Francis Xavier & I'm glad that you chose the Old city to be the more dominant.Let another century go by
& I bet I know which city will still be the more visited, due to its architectural beauty & history,& it's not the one in the background:-)Perfect stitching work.

The wide angled panoramic format suits this land seascape perfectly. Natural looking color with superb sharpness & saturation. Well composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

I think I told you that Malta has a debt of gratitude to you that it portrays all angles, so that this repository will become history as a place well known to each of us from the far places.
Nice panoramic caught.

An amazing panoramic shot from a wonderful historical cityscape, Francis!
The color of the facade of the buildings is so lovely against the blue-greenish waters.
Sharpness and POV are excellent, and colors are original.
Nice management of light and a balanced exposure too.
Thanks and regards,

very effective panorama especially in the large size. Interesting angle of vision
obbviously by a native of Malta who knows where and when to go. The dull atmosphere is an asset. Janos the gabbypal

> Ciao Francis,
I do not like football, just watch when the selection
main plays in world championships.
But I agree with what you write about the beautiful panoramic view,
the contrast of the architecture of the new and old.
You chose an excellent angle, splendid presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Nice contrast and excellent panoramic stitched shot. I guess the old and the new are both important as the newer building probably include hotels that bring in tourist dollars. Its the older building that the tourists come to see however.

A superb panorame Francis! What a well chosen viewpoint! I've got to get back to Malta again! My last visit was 2006 and I wasn't doing much photography at that time!
Good, subtle HDR. Sharp image and well stitched together. Nice work.
