the way we feel what we look
I'm the 6th viewer and the 1st to say some thing, it is well done and I have a desire to do so but..but.. but..there is no lady available here to do, thank you for sharing,
Oh, I knew this was yours without seeing the name Teresa. A great work of art ... I love the PP work that you've done. I could see this in large format ... maybe poster size. (I might have cropped down a little lower from the top, but thats just my preference:)
As Trudy beat me to say that we knew this was your work without seeing your name to it.
Cannot help but read meanings between your lines.......
The mood, the effection, the reflections of thought move from your image, the eyes grab the attention.....they look away on distant thoughts.
Very emotive......very beautiful

Art in the finest. I do this kind of art also, and am facinated by the result of what we see. it is true our own vision must be felt for the magic to happen. Very nice work on this woman.

Another masterpiece from you, dear Teresa!
Most of your pictures are accompanied with strong notes and I really admire them and appreciate that you take time to write them, and above all you share your inner feelings through them which is the best part of your pictures I feel.
Great PP work which brings another appeal into this portrait.
The eyes are mysterious and mood is immense.
Great contrasts and well kept exposure.

sadness in her gaze.Congratulations on another moody artistic image.

Boa noite Teresa,

A superb lithograph like image with effective tight framing and the diagonal axis of the eyes adds dynamism. A truly outstanding image! Good sharpness & the high key tones and minimalist mid & shadow tones are superb. Tfs!
This glance turned to the left...as also towards the past, talks a lot about disillusion or disenchantment. Hard to keep intact, the ideal which gave birth at a new society' project. Always, the same paradigms from the past are coming to contaminate the most beautiful dreams.
The charcoal drawing's aspect adds an unfinished touch at your work like all revolutions are, isn't it?
I'm always amazed by your unique way to see the life and the world and also by your sensitive way to show it at us!
PS / Third time that day, trying to post this comment.
I have some difficulties still writing on the site ... the mostly unsettled! :(

A great B&W image. A minimalist composition with fantastic mood and emotion.
Hi Teresat..you are much too modest. Photography is many things, part science, part art and you are a real artist. This shot is very beautiful. You have done a nice job with the contrast and the cropping to make the shot very interesting. Congratulations.
Oh la la Teresa , i like this a lot , very much like charcoal drawing , i remember "Portrait of serenity" you posted last July whose outcome is a bit similar , i wished then you would experiment some more with those effects ,there you created your first succesful presentation of that type and i acknowledge this second image is even better imho , a beautiful surprise ! Love your artistic skill in this , a third in the making perhaps? hey hey just love the outcome here , my compliments dear friend,

Hi, Teresat. A story telling photo. Neat idea and an artistic pose which is contemplative.
The POV and the B&W and processing of the photo is excellent. Creative shot which is imaginative and appealing. Cheers.

Ola Teresa :)
Eyes as black pearls and porcelain complexion!
The light is the painter who created this miraculous composition here.
Exquisite, masterly realization, very showy, spectacular...congratulations! :).
With best wishes.
On one of my posted forum, someone told me in a polite way, that I come across, as someone, who as no artistic soul. Made me smile, so I assure him, that it could not be farther from the truth.
Then I come across that shot of yours, so different from what I would do, yet I only see beauty in it. Let it be know, that you're one of my favorite photographer on this site. Tho I've express that feeling a couple of time already.
Your shot are never dull, always trigger strong feeling in me and in no way, I'm saying that to be nice or polite. But you have a way to do thing, that never stop to impress me.
I just love that tight crop, showing only the essentiel, the feeling.
The way you use that high key, high contrast to make us feel.
Beautifull eyes, so full of serenity. So full of humanity. So peacefull. Beautifull work, not much room to offer you advice or tips, let say, that I wouldn't change a thing.
They say that Picasso was a great painter, cause he knew when to stop.....Beautifull work.
I also feel the same way, as teamill, when she said, I know it was from you without seeing your name, tho I saw your name, I would have assume it was from you, if I havn't...))))

Ultimamente tenho gostado de pegar expressões humanas.
eu descobri um outro lado, o rosto humamo.
Belo trabalho, e boa escolha no artWork.
Eu gosto muito da paleta do inkjet.
Been so long i didnt see your pictures combined with strong notes.
Really love this minimalist composition that produces strong mood.

Bello trabajo.
