[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I had a business trip to our office in San Jose and planned it so that I would at least have a weekend included. On Saturday, I decided to go down to the coast and visit Santa Cruz, Carmel and Big Sur. Especially Carmel was on my list to visit as it was the home of Edward Weston. His grand children still runs a photography art gallery. The gallery has some great prints of past and present photographers, including the famous Ansel Adams.
This is a view from Cypress Point Lookout along the well known and visited 17-miles drive. It was getting closer to the end of the day, and the first of the warmer softer light started to apear. The typical Pacific fog also helped to give this photo something extra. The little G9 did its work perfectly again and produced a perfect exposure.
If you look closely in the bottom left corner, you can even see a seal on the rocks. I only noticed it when I processed the photo and zoomed in to a 100% view. |
