Bonjour Carol,

Bonne contribution pour le thèeme d'aujourd'hui. Le traitement N&B est un excellent choix pour ce sujet. j'aime le rendu contrasté qui donne du carractère à l'image. Les deux plans distincts me plaisent aussi beaucoup. Belle netteté, bonne expostion. Bravo

Carol,
The POV of this series of leaning rail ties gives the viewer a sense of visual tension. The rough texture of the ties contrasts with the smooth and light buildings in th BG. The monochrome treatment creates a film noir feeling in the image. PP is very well done here revealing both form and structure.

WoW!!! Love it
Perfect choice for grayscale, the mood and clarity is so good. The look of old wooden sleepers in contrast to the modern backdrop of architecture adds much attraction here, even the grass has an appeal to its texture, very well seen Carol. Have a good Easter.

Trying to imagine this in color...I think I like the B&W better. Sharp details and good contrast. Awesome composition and good contribution to Friday's theme. Well done, tfs.

A strong B/W shot with amazing focus and contrast, Carol!
Good control on light and exposure which do enhance the overall appeal of the picture drastically.
The repetition of the rail-road links is very well seen.

A nice way to give a tribute, to all those individuals who helped in the building of a railroad. I feel your selection to present it in B&W is perfect,both to show off the textures of the wood & the metal.An interesting angle which adds impact to the composition,well taken.TFS

I miss this.
First the Black and white is really good, is so rich ( better than diferent colors). A great POV...lines are very interesting, textures, also... You are unique, your photos are full of charcter and quality. Your way to look touch me very much. There is an emotional link with your photos. I love it...it is so unique.
