The gradient sky has much appeal here, the harsh light shows the dryness, very good notes btw.

Bom dia Chris
I like your angle capture and the good colors and sharpness.
Clear as real, I suppose.

Ciao Chris, fascinating landscape with fantastic colors, splendid light and excellent clarity, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio
A very intersting image here of the landscape. I am having a hard time making any relation to size......Are those full size trees next to the rocky hills? This is as good as it gets for such a bland scene. IMHO I like it.

a lovely photo. Brilliant colors and the trees at the bottom of the rock gives a sense of the scale and the size.

The point of view is sending my eye toward the rock formation in the background which is giving depth to the composition. It is also showing the details and colors of the rock formations. The quality of the light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

A spectacular shot from an interesting POV of these particular rocks.
A nice diagonal line created by this slope. Very natural colors and a neat presentation. I haver to point out the good use of the polarizer filter.

And this too, was taken in Arizona! You have some of the most unusual rock formations. Nicely captured with good details and wonderful colors. Very well done, tfs.

I like the brightness of colors. amazing blue sky over the reddish Kata Tjuta. the greenery adds nice freshness to the Australian desert and the trees give a fine scale to the heights of the hills.
good capture, well composed.

great contrast of colours and the diagonal belt of trees gives a pleasant break from the harshness of the outback - it does look as if the polarizer filter was rotated to the left which just emphasizes the colour contrast between the sky and the rock

It certainly looks a steep clim - just as well the view was worth it :-)
Nice colour and clarity. The trees add the sense of scale and make the picture. Nice job

I like the superb POV you have gone for this location, Chris!
The color contrast is striking and adds a lot in the overall appeal of the picture.
The sharpness and DOF are excellent, and clarity is amazing.
Well executed work all in all!
Thanks and regards,

The different diagonal lines reinforce each other into a powerful composition (wide angle effect?), leading our eyes towards the rock formation in the background. That rock formation almost has a 3D appearance, thanks to the subtle shadows. I also think the gradient and intense sky is a bonus here (which it is less in your Grand Canyon photo in my opinion): it gives an almost graphic quality to the left part of your picture, where the warm tones of the slope meet the hard blue of the sky.
TFS & kind regards,

When I saw this in thumbnail, i thought you still post from a trip to us, and yes, it has similarities to the area you mentioned.
