[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture at Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit during a MINI meeting. I decided to have a play around with CS2, and just did some selective colour adjustments.

Pretty neat work, Daniel.
The "playing around" has paid off.

The foreground mini is really nice and sharp, and the selective colour adjustment has really made the shot work (for me anyway)

Excellent composition. Having the lead Mini almost in the centre of the shot has balanced the shot, with the other Minis on the left falling into 1/3rds of the frame both horizontally and vertically.

The drop off of focus across the Minis is perfect, where there is an equally graduated fall off throughout the entire shot from foreground to background.

There's only one thing that "bothers" me with this shot, and that's the guy seen in the rear of the front Mini. The white T shirt just doesn't look like it should be there.

I'm sure with your CS skills you could clone him out or convert to BW.

Other than that, I love the simplicity but genius of the shot.

Great work

Hi Daniel,

The row of mini's act as a nice lead in line across the shot. The position of the blue mini adds a good balance to the shot. Your post processing work to bring out the rich blue of the foreground mini adds a good focal subject for your shot. Nice sharpness, PoV and DoF.
