|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|On our way to a holiday in Knysna, we stopped off at Wilderness Beach near George. It was cold and overcast...not really beach weather, but the soft light diffused through the clouds was perfect for some photography! |
I know this set-up is kitsch and done a million times before...still makes for a pretty picture though!
PP: cloned out some debris in the distance, resized and sharpened.

You're right about the overcast light - makes for better texture!!! Nice and sharp subject. I'd go for a square format here; I'll post a quick WS
The kind of photo that I admire, that inspires peace and serenity.
Excellent low POV that emphasizes the details and texture of these stones.
There is a perfect use of the rule of thirds.
So peaceful , the ws is great too.

Very simple yet elegantly done - regardless that it was set-up or not. The soft diffused light is perfect for htis subject creating a very serene image.
Very Nicely Done
Impressive, great focus with sharp details and well blurred back
Great sharpness showing the texture of the stones and grains of sand in the foreground. Also like the shallow field depth in the background.
