[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At Eataly, celebrity chef Mario Battali's large combination of food markets, restaurants, cafes and more in the Flatiron district in New York, a tray stacked with clean coffee cups and saucers waits to be set onto cafe tables. To me the image has an Art Deco feel.

In PP: Cropped, selectively sharpened using the paintbrush tools, converted to b&w, added vignette

Hi Sandy,
A nice symmetrical composition with these cups and saucers. Nice play with light and shadows.
An interesting POV.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

You have a great talent to see the simple things in a special way and this picture is no exception, Sandy!

Great symmetry and perfect details with amazing sharpness and from a very well chosen POV.
Good light management and nice natural frame.

Have a nice weekend.

Greetings,
Paras

Sandy

Very good observation with a nice pov that showcases the repetition of the cups and saucers.
I like the use of lighting and shadows here.
Oh yes, very Art deco, it is the kind of pictures that are hung on the wall of kitchen design or in trendy restaurants.
Very well done.

My kind of shot Sandy! I really like the black and white conversion too, and the light sparkling off of the coffee cups. Very cool art deco shot alright!!

Hello Sandy,
Your composition reminded me my university days when in the morning we'd go to the cafeteria and have lots of cups. But interestingely, in the image on the post the saucers are bit more than usual. A beautifil image, well done. Thanks for sharing.
Best Wishes,
Inaam

Hi Sandy,

Nice repetition of patterns & shapes with good tonal range & adequate (but not perfect) sharpness. Only the middle third is in focus. Maybe it's just a personal preference, but I'd prefer to see the fg sharp too, or the bg, similar to the 2nd row of cups & saucers. Tfs & have a fantastic week!
