[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken in the atrium of the cruise ship Carnival Pride, looking up 9 decks. I thought this would make an interesting subject, but the challenge for me was composition. I tried to pick a spot where I'd capture some symmetry, and think I was at least partially successful.

The color version was interesting as well, but by taking away a dimension, one can also add one.

Hi Werner

What is the Carnival Pride? I'm guessing a boat or submarine? Anyway, a superb b&w image with good high contrast, a nice tonal range & excellent perspective & sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Werner,
Like always you did your best. All your jobs are helping me to find new ideas.
Thanks for sharing

Congratulations! You did a wonderful job in creating a very interesting composition of this atrium. Good lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.

I like it. It's an interesting place to make pictures. Black and white is a good election.

Symmetry is interesting and I like the different position of the three lifts.
The POV is very well thought out, it gives a feeling of dizzy height.
Smart composition.
Have a nice week end
Best regards

Hi Werner,
A stunning worm's eye view in the atrium of this cruise liner. Beautiful conversion into B&W. Nice PP work to produce such contrast and highlights. A beautiful graphical composition which your artistic abilities have produced such a composition.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Hi Werner, really love the b&w with this, I'm gettin vertigo just trying to work out what is what up the top... Fiona

gHello Werner

Very futuristic in your capture here. I like it, this should be hanging. I love images with hard contrast. all is very interesting to me. Nice

What an amazing POV, Werner!

Firstly, I thought I am looking into a Spaceship or something like this.
Great light and perfect exposure for this site.
The B/W treatment is indeed a great choice.
Well done!

Have a nice Sunday.

Thanks and regards,

Hello Werner :)

The very interesting composition with interesting details.
Perfect realization, colours and perfect light.
The whole looks very flashily!

I greet You warmly.

Hello Werner, this shot needs some studying so as to get one's bearings, but it is worth taking time over.I guess that your neck must have ached looking up at this angle?
The 'almost' symmetry, with the elevator down on the left seems to add to the picture for me.
It can't have been easy looking up to the light but it is well managed.
Sharp details throughout, well done.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Olá wener
how are you.
great perspective and beautiful B/W choice. It is an impressive architecture..it is a pleasure to see it
Um abraço
