|Was looking for photo opportunities and wandered into this field in which many of the plants were devoured by insects. This particular leaf had a striking pattern. Sun was bright and photogenic, but in hindsight I should've waited for an orange sunset sky.|

Post proc incl cropping, saturation, and sharpening.

I really like your PoV. It's interresting to see that you chose to take a picture of this particular pierced leaf. I love how this one looks, the three pierces on the top are sympathic, but the one with the sunlight is amazing !
I also like the background, with those automnal colors and little branches pointing the blue sky.
This is marvelous and should have LOTS more comments and attention! Unique POV, super well managed light here, so easy to blow this out, yet you nailed it! Super noiseless sky! I like it!
