Kurt,
You got it right it is a F-16 Falcon. Fine details on this taxing aircraft - good POV and a tough shot with the angle of the sunlight that still comes through.

A fine capture of this F-16 Falcon adrned with splendid lighting. A very sharp image where one can appreciate the tender bodywork of this fabulous aircraft/fighter.

Hello Kurt

You have it right about it being an F-16. Only the the airforce fly's this model. The Navy uses mainly the f-18 from the deck of their carriers. Like Eleu....I would concentrate on getting images of the aircraft in the air. For a good example of aircraft shots, go to airliners.net. your image is sharp enough, has good color saturation, just that the lighting is all wrong. You can see hard shadows across the aircraft. Try and position yourself for better lighting in the future. Some photgraphers once they have found there favorite spot............will wait for hours to get the money shots. have a nice day

Very nice capture of this Thunderbird! I saw them practicing at Nellis Air Force Base yesterday. Didn't get any decent picture though. Great lighting with good pov and dof. Well done, tfs.

A wonderful capture from a naval aircraft with amazing details, Kurt!

Like the light in this case and the partly shown shadows as well.
The picture is razor-sharp and clarity is nice.
