[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was sitting on the back of my boat yesterday when this seagull swooped down and found something to eat that was floating in the water. I caught him as he landed. Unfortunately he was a bit too close, and I clipped his wing. He was gone within 2-3 seconds.

Enjoy your day !

A fine capture un der the given circumstances. I like the glassy water and how it brings out and frames your subject.

Hi Julie,
A perfecly timed capture of this seagull with wings wide spread.
A nice positioning of the wings and a wonderful ripple caused by the bird while capuring its prey.
A very sharp image with perfect light management.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

I don't believe I just ran out of smilies. This is such a fantastic shot Julie. the lighting and exposure are perfect. Sharp detail and magnificent pose with the light shining thru the wing feathers. Great job. TFS, Lori
