[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A further photo of the recently opened Riverside Museum in Glasgow. The building, designed by Zaha Hadid and in homage to the rich maritime history of the Clyde, is reminiscent of a boat with the peaked roof a modern interpretation of the masts of a ship.

The photo was taken handheld on a sunny but cloudy day in July. Initial editing in Aperture 3 with further editing of curves/contrast and addition of a diffuse glow and border in Photoshop CS4.

I like the play between light and shadows, James, and you have achieved to catch a wonderful exposure making this building an eye-catching one against an artistic cloud formation!

The focus on the building with superb architecture is well kept and clarity is nice.
A tight frame works well here and B/W treatment to the picture is well thought too.
Good job!

Best regards,
