in these days i'm regular on your photos! This time no alligators or water mocassins, but only -so to speak- the poetic image of a donkey.Poetic because both the barbed wire's shadow and the animal's eye seeemingly wide open give a real meaning to the title of your photo.Excellent focus and DOF.Very good also the details of the hairs around the eye.

Fantastic photo... very well seen the shadow of the barbed wire near the eye of the horse, introducing an unexpected narrative in a very sharp and well composed photo with great light, color, and a perfect crop.
Congrats, and boa noite.

a beautful macro that is well composed with the shadow of the barbed wire across the face of your subject. Supurb clarity and detail with a strong subtext in the image.

It reminds me of the horse photo I posted a few months ago. Isn't it great to become friends with an animal. It just requires patience and a calm attitude. I love the real close capture and the details on the hair. I guess a slightly smaller aperture would've been better as it would allow for a full focused eye.
