Another cracker Ralph, sharp as, and the super clean background is the icing.
Well composed and right shutter speed chosen.
An observation....your second post was let down by the background, too 'gritty' and distracting. Mind you, I'd be happy to have captured that.
Cheers,
Pete.

Hi Ralph,
That must have been a wonderful experience, flying in a Catalina and topping it of with formation flights with old airplanes. I guess many of us would've liked trading places with you.
The quality of the photo is excellent, with great sharpness and wonderful clarity. I like how the planes really stand out from the dark sky and sea. The used shutter speed gave a nice motion in the props and added that touch of speed. All in all just excellent work.

Niek

Love the image of these aircraft flying in formation. Nice to have the ability for this kind of photography. Well done all the way around.

Hi Ralph,
I'm impressed with the sharpness & clarity of your airplane images,a pleasure to view. The silver red colours blend well with the lighter blues & whites of the clouds & of the darker blue of the sea.Your choice of formation makes for a vibrant composition.
