I took this at Beamish this weekend when there with luckybry. The weather was great and it was not hard to get shots like this. I took this in colour and coverted to sepia, had to clone out a light in the window then sharpened. |

Spot on Jon, could have been taken a hundred years ago.
Composition and p&p really enhance the shot.
Exposure works well too.

Hello Jon,
The signs and the cobbled street add to the nostalgic feel of your shot. It was a good idea to change to sepia for that timelesness.
I can see why you resisted cropping a little from the left, for his reflection, in the shop window, is an added bonus to the shot. Possibly room for just a tad more sharpness.

like the efeect here Jon lot better than the colour version you did well with cloning the light out the window realy enjoyed my day thephotos were a bonus looking forward to seeing more

Hi Jon,
Excellent shot and good PP work, the scene is spot on with no modern items at all, good choice with the sepia and nice tones - when I was there last year this guy was working in the stables with the dray horses - I notice he has his dealer boots on in this. Best wishes
