Another shot from the archives taken at the park in Freeport. The park was on the water so there were plenty of Canadian Geese running around. I fell in love with this shot as much for twinkle in his eye as the background. Hope you like it too. Have a great week!

Is this the same kind of Geese i shot? Here it's called Roth Geese. Nice shot of it.

Hi Lori,
I love this portrait-- the twinkle you caught is great and the background really blends well with this. Mine are currently sitting on their eggs--- I'm going to have to go see them shortly ! Have a good day. TFS Julie

Very nice portrait with a great bokeh.
I like how you have composed the photo, good third.
It is lovely and tribute to Canadian Geese.
Excellent idea .
Well done Lori
Kind regards

Dear Lori
good shot for catching so clearly this long neck and cute head. perfect sharpness and clarity. the blurry BG enhances the B&W goose.

Good morning Lori,
Nice sharp details in this portrait of a goose. The blurred bg really allows this goose to stand out. The catchlight in his eye is nice. It looks like you got this capture as he was eating his lunch. The little green leaf in the beak stands out. NIce shot Lori.

The eye is so black it matches the black feathers. Nicely framed and good dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hello Lori,

ery good BG light which gives a nice contrast with this portrait of the Canadian goose. What beautiful details.
Like the fair presentation of the neck to the head is smiling.
Well done and TFS. Have a sweet week.
Regards. Yolande

Great shot of this goose. Striking sharpness and detail. The blurred background really makes him stand out.

Lovely crisp head shot of this handsome fella! The shallow dof works well to isolate the Goose from the bg and the exposure is spot on! That glint in the eye is a great touch too and your composition is artistic indeed. Well done Lori!

Best wishes,

Hi Lori,
Another fine portrait of a black goose! A nice sparkle in its eye is attracting everyone's attention!
A nice blurred BG which is isolating the bird!
Quite an attractive composition with the adequate crop!
Well done,

Francis Xavier
