[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an sculpture from Jorge Oteiza, a basque artist.
It was a rainy day so the floor is wet and the sky is cloudy.

I tried many compositions using different focal lengths and points of view until I was happy with this strong tilted 18mm FL one.

Played around with HDR software, and after doing it I brought it back to PaintShopPro to keep on playing around until I was 'kind of happy' with the result... but I am aware that after looking too much at the same image and changing its levels on and on, we get lost and can not picture it like we did at first-sight ;)

However, I like the overall abstract mood.

PS. I posted a Workshop with the b&w version, following Eriks advice, thanks Erik ;)

HI Galder,
An original composition of this modern sculpture with a magnificent sky as BG.
I like the HDR treatment to this shot which enhanced the atmosphere!
Nice colors and I like the tilt to produce such modern structure.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Hello Galder Jon,
A striking composition of a strong subject matter. The tilt appropriately enhances the impact of both.
I'm less happy with your postprocessing though. It might be a matter of taste, but to me your picture looks too reddish: not my cup of tea, but it also slightly alters the impact of the brownish sculpture. Furthermore, I see a strange halo around some parts of the sculpture. I personally would have preffered a black & white conversion after the HDR-treatment you applied.
Of course, feel free to (dis)agree ;o).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

I think this is so pretty Glader. Something about the lighting and color is wonderful. Interesting POV and composition. TFS, Lori
