[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was shot in an art's museum. Used available lighting. Set Camera to ISO 1600. Posed camera on a stone column with a shutter speed of 1/8 sec. Aperture f/6.3.
Corrected color temperature with Photoshop CS4. Vignetted in black to create such a mood.
A new experiment...not my usual style, but I want to try everything to do with photography.
I appreciate all your positive or negative comments. Don't hesitate to criticize, please!

Hi Francis
this shot is IMHO desecration of art (to say the least)... not your usual style indeed...

Hi MF Francis,

Realy great composition reflecting a great love with fine tonality.
TFS!

Bayram

I think this shot is very imaginative, unusual and nice.
The strong camera tilt and the subject kissing the painting, the special light and the vignette and black frame with the red line accomplished a special mood.
The only hole I find is the OE light reflection on the paint.
Kudos for this experiment, looking forward to see more things like this :)
PS. IMHO this is not desecration of art, this is being able to 'un-dramatize' it. And the Venus seems to like your friend too.

Gr8 lighting and nice POV. Thanks for the settings. regards.

Hi Francis, I think this is very well composed and caught at the very right moment. Very good light and POV.

So different for you in every way. Lighting and warm colors well presented. Interesting POV and composition. Makes me smile. TFS, Lori

Hi Francis.
Love it I mean trying different subjects regardless of any social norms even I like nude modeling but my society restrict me however you did very well with available light here but a little experience sharing in such conditions put your camera to aperture priority where you set the aperture while the camera decides for the shutter and in this way you always get best result try it and let me know if it works IMHO.
My Best Wishes

Hi Frnacis,

Beautifull shot , great effect of the light.
Very nice oblique POV, excellent composition.
My best reagrds.
John

Manifestly different from your habitual and more familiar work Francis ,i trust there is everything in here to make this photo interesting/appealing : the main actor whose lips suggestively enact the action of kissing the woman in the painting's breast does it with a touch of comicality , a zest of humor and some modesty thrown in , the ambient light allows me to witness a sign of consentment/approval in the woman's eyes , excellent connection here , i am not so sure of the slant composition though as i keep tipping my head to one side yet i prefer innovation sometimes and i will get used to seing it that way , ha ha , admittedly i like your approach if only to change your standards by doing things differently ,i can only approve of this presentation , just keep it up my friend ,
Carol

dear Francis Xavier,
a beautiful artwork picture of very interesting situation,
the woman in the painting feels present there, and the man actual there feels in another illusionary space,
this reversal feeling is very nice in this composition and lighting here,
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa

Bom dia Francis,
I love the look of tenderness and love interest that Venus looks to the man.
There are really OE in the upper area of the head of Venus and the frame.
It's a good experiment and a new way.
R.
