Playing around with PaintShopPro software, somehow I arrived to this final result on one of Bess' portraits.

I like it!! So I wondered if is worth posting it on TL... well, why not? I am excited about the feedback I can get :) good or bad always helpful

Okay, so here's my two cents worth!!
I like the overall concept. It's a cool effect. However, I'm wondering if maybe just a little bit over done. To me, her face is just a little too obscured by the brightness.
Also the crop .. maybe a little more of the negative space taken away.
Just my own personal opinions ... I still like the concept and kudos to you for experimenting and trying something new.

(she's lovely:)

Hello Galder , the thumbnail looked promising now that i have opened it... well.. i am still excited i confess but not as highly as i would like ,hummm i wish more of her face and hand features be more defined , some important details are barely there , other than that i think it is pretty cool really , i am liking her position in the far corner but if she was made to look toward the center of the frame a bit more then it would work even better i think , just my personal view on this image , tfs ,

Hello Galder,
Portrait très lumineux, mais qui garde les détails principaux du visage et son expression. Le décentrage donne aussi une impression d'espace, comme si la jeune fille communiquait avec le monde. Bien réalisé !

HI Galder...I like the high key effect..nice work..

I like this one. I like the clean, pure result of the 'washed out' highlights and the starkness and minimalism of the shadows.

A style I've often admired but seldom done myself!

Hi Galder - like a few others, I'd prefer a little more definition in the middle of her face. But that aside. the composition is good, there's a nice smile/expression and you deserve credit for trying something different. Good stuff!

dear Galder,
yes, you finally realize the artistic portrait image filled with her full expression here,
because you abstract her essential beauty from noisy details,
original her charm and your way to express are happily matching to make this wonderful picture, I think,
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa
