[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It took me some time to capture this nervous insect which never stopped on a flower! I was wondering what it's been for! I took several shots of it in flight and when I downloaded them on my computer I noticed that it was reaching out and still had its fill!
It's interesting!

one word to describe this FANTASTIC
tfs regards bryan

Ciao Francis

Insect and flower, eternal combination!
A nice macro insect, showing both the flower and the visitor with details!
DoF on site and a beautiful combination of colors make up this attractive close-up!

Dear Sir,

Nice find and capture my friend! I know how difficult it is to capture a shot like this- they never stay over the flower for enough time to get a shot in auto focus and it requires a lot of patience. I think looking at the aperture value you used, you are loosing a lot of light and shutter speed. I think an aperture value of f/8.0 would have given you enough Dof and adequate shutter speed to get a slightly sharper shot. 1/500-1/1250 sec would be enough. I would be interested to know how this would turn out if you adjust your shutter speed to these values (or higher if the light allows). This is a great effort nonetheless and I admire your perseverance and dedication to your work. Well done!

Best wishes,

Dilshan

Awesome capture and great timing! Great pov and it has a good dof with nice details. Beautiful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Francis,
Nice patience. This is a very fine photo. Good timing and lots of details. The colors are really nice in this as well as the lighting. TFS Julie

Nice capture of a sphinx moth. They have been mistaken for hummingbirds.

Best regards,
Paul

A humming moth is too fast to catch but you managed to collect quite nice details here, Francis!
I have myself tried once but I didn't get that much time as I saw it just for few seconds :P

Great clarity and focus on the Lantana flowers and perfect color contrast between the blurry BG and these beautiful flowers. The sharpness and POv are well chosen, and placement of moth within a natural frame is well seen.
Good job!

Greetings,
Paras

dear Francis Xavier,
wow,
a decisive moment of its feeding figure is very well captured,
its long mouth and moving wings are amazing, it is miracle macro world indeed,
and tiny still flowers are beautifully contrasted with it,
light and colors, and composition are splendid to make the natural scene picturesque,
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa

Amazing capture. Absolutely beautiful. Wonderful sharp detail against the blurred background. Another work of art. Great job!

Francis,
ANyone who has ever tried to capture a shot like this - especially at a flower and not just a feeder knows how absolutely difficult it is.

A fine job!

Hello Francis Xavier,

Yolande

Lovely shot of a butterfly trying to extract nectar from flowers. This pic. would definitely receive more accolades and praise if posted on treknature. Thanks.
