I managed to take this shot laying down on the muddy ground:

Shooting something on the ground is usually a looking down shoot tilting the camera almost 90 degrees, but if laying on the ground you can avoid tilt your camera, and get a nice blurred background as I did here.

The darkness of the far backgrounds help emphasizing the 'fallen beauty' effect, and the rule of thirds brings balance to the composition.

ISO-200 and 120mm FL. The white frame is the only pp work... but I guess it was not necessary at all ;)

Hi sir.interesting shot with good POV and DOF .. Perfect composition.have good time.

Hola Galder - nice shot of this Frangipani flower (my back garden in Dubai is full of them). Sharp focus, very well contrlloed and narrow DOF. All done in camera too so well done.

I'm just back from 2 weeks in Cambodia myself - great place ;-)

Cheers
DAvid

Hi Galder...
Nice shot with so nice focus...
Nice presentation...
Regards...
Andrija

This one is awesome. I love the placement of the flower, the soft bokeh effect of the lens, the simple clean colours of the flower.

The frame - not necessary, but I actually think it has improved the shot.

Very nice Galder ... now that's dedication .. getting down on the muddy ground :)
Very nicely composed shot. And the flower stands out beautifully against the muted colors of the BG. Great shot

Simple but effective composition. Great use of the dof to isolate your beautiful subject. Very nice framing. Well done, tfs.

Hi Galder,

Simple shots like this are sometimes the most magical and give the viewer a nice pleasing image to look at. I like the way you have kept the flower in the bottom third of the photograph and together with the shallow depth of field you gain a sense of beauty and loneliness.

Great work,

Mark
