That is one classic shot of a street car and from a Lisboner at that , it reminds me of your image where only the side of one is visible , the angle was different seen from the rear but this view is what makes the shot as it veers round the bend , driver in full view and the sight of a young boy leaning out of the window is a nice touch i reckon ,i think both spotted you ha ha , hum by the way you are coming to grip with your new Sony Alpha !
You caught a black umbrella in this stop action capture hum it could be erased i believe , the image speaks for itself looking at the grey weather in the open skies behind , it makes me wonder about Lisbon not getting snow in winter , more rain than the elusive white stuff that we Canadians must shovel out of our driveways you can't dream of a white winter can you , hi hi ? I would rather have your mild rainy one than a cold snowy one , just my view on winters dear friend ,i hate the cold , lol!

C'est la première fois que je vois un tram courir sur des rails en or et c'est ma foi bien joli.
Tres beau tram avec un petit garçon rêveur qui regarde à la fenêtre et on dirait que c'est une bonne soeur qui conduit; tu m'as fait pousser le rêve un peu loin, on dirait.

Very nice perspective Teresa! I totally understand that mood, even here in Texas, we don't have snow, but the miserable cold can be very depressing! I love the low profile here, the view OVER the edge of the road is very nice!

When I saw this picture I immediately liked it.
You captured a magic light, which gives a particular atmosphere to the scene and the leaves and the tracks seem golden. Great sharpness and details.

Its all been said but excellent pov with the tram just coming over the brow of a hill and the low height that the shot was taken, great colouring and mood. Nice work

This really is a sparkling urban photo, Teresa. First of all because of the way you captured the light and rendered the colors. But also because of some details such as the advertisement*, the look of the tram driver and of the young passenger, as well as the partly visible umbrella.
The focal length you used helps to make the subject matter really pop out: we almost have the impression of being capable to touch the tram.

Hi Teresa,
I was in Lisboa about three weeks ago. So this one looks familiar. I spent a few day there and what a beautiful place. I will be posting photos that I took there in the future.

As for this one, I like the tight crop and I like to see people in this kind of shot - the driver and the boy looking from a side window. I think you could have cloned out the umbrella that is sticking out on the left, but that is minor. A nice, very interesting capture.
