Let me introduce "Lady" aka "Lady Diva". Lady is my girl who I adopted from an animal shelter in Spain and she came to me in Germany on My 15th. Both of us would like to thank all the angles working at Sensa Sostra in Barcelona for saving Lady from a life of misery. I don't know too much about her prior life but it is believed she used to live on the streets of Barcelona before arriving at the shelter. When I saw her photo and read her story I fell in love instantly and contacted an organization in Germany to help me with the adoption. After a lot of paper work, e-mails back and forth and an on sight interview once I myself arrived to Germany after moving from Canada Lady arrived.

She was a poor sight when she arrived. Skinny, dirty, anxious and scared. Since then we have both worked hard on creating a better life for her. In the beginning she was so scared she bit one of my colleges in his hand when he came to pet her on her first day following me to work. Luckily we have ben bale to handle those fears and she is no longer scared of people :-) She had to be housebroken too and she had separation anxiety. she became hysterical amongst children, were upsets with balls, ate anything off the street, had a bad stomach, flees, ticks you name it. We have dealt with it all. Now she is a happy goofy dog with a shining fur and glimmering eyes. Runs around free, learned her commands, plays with children, dog,d toys people and put a smile on the faces of strangers where ever she goes.

This is a photo i took of her last evening when we had a little "photo shooting" evening. "Mummy" want some photos of her "little one". I have just now started to train her to hold a position i am putting her in, obviously not this one though, and she is doing quite well...if he get some candy or a bit of play time on the way.

It has been a very long time since i posted something, which is mostly due to that i haven't been photographing very much. I hope to get started again and Lady is the percent subject. So i think you will see a lot of her in the near future. But I will try and keep it exciting and do something other than the regular "pet snap shot" That i save for friends and family on Face book. I will come back later in the evening to critique as well, but right now we have to get ready for work!

Wish everyone a nice day!
