|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This shot was taken from the same place as this picture but on the following day. |
Shot from the garden of the little villa we rented last week in north-east Corfu, looking east across the Ionian Sea towards Albania whose coast you can see in the background, just 2 or 3 kilometers distant.
There was a pot of geraniums sitting on a wall and I thought I might use the flowers for some foreground interest. This meant using a small aperture (f/20) to enable sufficient depth of field. I also used fill-in flash this time to enhance the flowers. Not much done in processing other than to level, crop, resize and sharpen.
Shot in RAW using a polariser and fill-in flash and converted and edited in PSE6.

Superb photo of Corfu!
Your small aperture works very finely here, letting see far away beyond the coast.
I like the suggestion to use a fill flash a better lighting in foreground. This adds a + at the depth already very sharp! This image well composed is very appealing with the progressive contrast of vivid and soft colors! Bravo! Annie
