Viva Espana !

|Taken during the parade of the Pilots at the Canadian Grand Prix last June.|
Fernando Alonso passing by us. A small tribute to his victory at Hockenheim at the F1 German Grand Prix. A well deserved victory despite the controversy.
He would have passed Felipe Massa sooner or later in any case. Nevertheless the Team orders to Massa to let Fernando pass did spoil the unexpected 1-2 finish of Ferrari. Sad, very sad. But on the other hand very Ferrari as well...
The rest of season will be certainly entertaining with three teams and five great pilots fighting for the Championship.
Technically, Just cropped the image and reframed.
Abt the title . Well yesterday Alberto Contador won the prestigious Tour de France. If you add up the Victory of the Spanish team at the World Cup of Soccer and Rafael Nadal Victory in Wimbledon. Yes we can definitely say Viva Espana !

Hi Robert....great sharp shot with great tones....what car is this? It looks like an early Austin Healy...
What a great record of the parade.
A well positioned and detailed shot.
I like the inclusion of the the second car which adds depth to the shot.
Just one little niggle, whilst the car and the driver are nice and sharp, Alonso is oof. Does that tell me that the 'car' was more important than the racing driver, or just a genuine lack of focus!!
My warm regards,
Nice capture Robert - these were great cars - although after Hockenheim I'm not so sure about the greatness of the driver and the team he drives for, but that’s F1 [it lives on controversy] Hopefully Hungary will produce great and fair race between the contenders and all will be forgotten!
Bom dia Robert.
Very happy moment with a fine sharpness and magie of F1.
Life is full of games.
Espana must be very happy these days. It is a fine image of glorious Espana days.
Long time no see MF. In the past few months I was inactive on TrekLens, because it was impossible to manage both my TrekNature account and working on the website of our fungi club, but alas... I'm here again.
Very well composed shot, great sharpness and colors. The contrast between the old (car) and new (world champion of the recent times) + of course between black and red is awesome. Your usual high standard in photography helps to get a pleasant view. Elegant work, nice to look at. Congrats and tfs.
Next GP will be in Hungary, my home country. Telling honestly, I enjoy the race much more via TV than personally. Probably because I don't like mass at all. As a Spanish guy wrote to me on TN, they live the Golden Age of Spanish sports now - and Alonso's 3rd World Championship victory would be the crown...
About controversy: until 1960 driver change during the race was possible. If the favorite's car failed mechanically, the team immediately called one of the "domestique" racers to the pit, and he had to give the car to the No. 1. In cycling, as You know, 7 or 8 guys work hardly for one's success... So, what are we talking about?! :)
Thank You so much for Your critique on my "Contador" image. Friendly regards, all the best, László
