The scene you were capturing does appear as if it did in the 20's and 30's as you had wished. The low key tones are wonderful, and yes, that beautiful tiled floor brings back memories of grand balls and great musicians.
A great scene,

you have indeed created a scene that appears as if it was taken in the early 40's,I half expected to see Humphry Bogart
amongst the people.I like your use of a longish exposure,as it gives the blur of movement & adds mood to this scene. Good PP work.

Hello Teresa :)
This formulation looks in blackly white convention fantastically,
it reminds old photo.
Splendid composition and realization in this light and sharpness.
Beautiful effect, it pleases me very.

Quite absorbing and moody my dear Teresa. Appears like a scene from a period film worthy of scrutiny. Awesome pp work. Quite impressive with your cam and the tech settings of f/2.8, 1/13 seconds. My best regards.

Great atmosphere in B/W, excellent DOF and perspective .
The sharpness and the light are perfect, With these tiles with white and black tiles and columns give a good angle shot.

É como se eu estivesse vendo um postal bem antigo!
olhar e voltar no tempo, olhar cada detalhe deste lugar
e imaginar que século foi este.
Belíssima apresentação e de muito bom gosto!
Adorei e continuo a olhar para foto e tentando me transportar
para este lugar, este século , este tempo!
Really, this could be an old photo of this café!
I am amazed by the ambience you got with your PP work. Even people seem coming from an other time.
This is the confirmation about great talent you have for creating such beautiful images full of connotations, nostalgia and charm. My compliments! Annie

this old taste is superb,
all people and objects shows me good old atmosphere very well,
where the past time had gone, always I think about the relation of the past and the future, but I cannot see it, only I can imagine at least the present time includes the shadows of them,
and this your old taste picture surely makes me feel one timeless sense of my sixth sense,
thank you for your excellent art work picture,

Going back several years, brought such a feeling in my mind when I first saw this strong composition, Teresa!
The sepia tone works well here and sharpness is perfect. Great mood you have been able to deliver through this work.

What a wonderful idea to converting this to black and white. The sepia really gives it that old photograph look as well as adding some warmth (in my opinion) to the photo. This photo is timeless!! Great job! Lisa

You did well composed and illustrated the scene, I like too have a seat and stay there for couple of hours and enjoy but it is a dream for us that we are marked behind the line so I only dream. You did illustrate this in whole, I love this and have the desire and dream, TFS.
The Café Florian is so beautiful and the architectural details of that old piazza is fantastic. You did a great job of capturing the real essence of Venezia. Very well done as usual thanks Teresat!

le parole delle tue note servono sempre a spiegare le tue immagini, diventano una sola cosa con le foto.
What you've done here to make it looks like old photographs are successful.
This is a good view and surly remembers you about your memories...
But I'm looking for colors which in most of your shots, do not exist. I know this is your style, no argue, just these types of post processing bring sadness to me

Many "small scenes", within an exceptional "theatre". The sepia is lovely and adds something, I would have love also the "simple" BW. But maybe the sepia here helps to maintain the brightest tones "under" the pure white, it is better for the scenes you wanted to tell us....

Interesting effect you've managed here Teresat! The photo looks quite aged, like it's from the 20s or 30s... Nice perspective, not bad sharpness at f2.8 - the photo blurs a little towards the left side but I think that adds to the 'old' feel of this one.

Hello dear Teresa, you know if this weren't for the contemporary garnments of the passers-by this picture could have been taken sometime in the early 1900's , why not the building seems much older than that and i think the sepia tint is what makes it appear that way , well to me this old café has all the antique feel about it , nicely done and well chosen medium to give this place its terrific atmosphere of old days , thank you for sharing my friend,

The sepia tone and the interior of this architecture somehow complementing well making this image looking vintage in the frame. Well captured perspective and thanks for sharing.

You're capturing well this corridor with cafe by a good composition and excellent cepia tone, so it's impressive and interesting to see old architecture with tiles in the ground, ceiling with good design and stocky pillars. It is possible to catch a glimpse of the life seeing in daily life from this photograph. The depth that there is a stereoscopic effect in the photograph is felt because it takes it from a good angle.
And, the communication of guests and waiters at right side draws out more good effect. I want also to take such a photograph some time.
