|I liked the colours of this cape in the 'Carlton Queen' ship and took a close up shot.|
Played with the depth of focus to leave the background unfocused while the foreground part is on focus; the curved shapes create an eyecatching image in my opinion while the textures enrich it.
Shot in RAW, jpgged, adjusted levels (contrast, saturation, brightness...), resized to TL size and sharpened.

Yes, that's a very interesting and nice composition. A good play from vivid colors and amazing transition from focused and unfocused parts. An excellent rythm.
Nice use of narrow DOF here with sharp focus on the front of the rope. Nice colour too. I think it would be good if the top left BG was maybe totally 'blacked' out as there are a couple of objects that draw the eye away from the rope to that corner.. Just my view :)
Macro's are fun, keep playing....
Hello, Galder -
Great abstract shot of the detail of this rope. The fine fibers with their unusual colors are sharp and defined. The dim coils behind make a great background. Nicely composed - very creative.
lovely captured , beautiful colors

Interesting choice of subject. Nice macro with clarity and excellent DOF. Good tight framing. Love the colours too.
This reminds me of a candy, the pov is original, unusual and that's what I like.
You have chosen the right angle and well focused on this part interesting.
Clever work with a great use of light.
