[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my second post from our kayaking adventure. I've posted a photo of this
footbridge previously. This was taken with my Coolpix at about mid-bridge. It was interesting to compose this with the kayak bobbing and drifting with the wind. I converted to B&W to emphasize the lines and contrasts.

I cropped and converted to B&W using the channel mixer. I also added some contrast.

Thanks for viewing and have a great weekend.

I really like this Werner .. first of all the choice to convert to B&W was a good idea. Nice range of tones. (maybe a little OE on the far shore - there's perhaps a way to fix that, but I wouldn't know how:) I also really like the composition from underneath the the diagonals and receding "X's". I can imagine the challenge of shooting from a bobbing kayak ... you did well!!
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Werner,
Good choice of b & w.I like the centrally positioned diagonal crosses and the linear up standings on the outside.Slight over exposure on the back ground river bank, however a great image in general.

Hello Werner,

This is a very good photography.
Nice composition and excellent choice to convert it to black and white.
As previous members mentioned there is a OE part... but still nice shot.

Warm greetings and best wishes,

HI Werner ,
A beautiful B&W shot with good composition, well chosen POV as the crosses give good details, the reflection on water gives details too, nice framing and a good adventurous experience with freezing the moments of your trip.
Thank you for sharing
Have a nice weekend

Hello Werner,

The pov is amazing this gives a great depth of field.
Very good idea this picture, the water under the bridge, it changes,
it is unusual and I noticed a very good geometry.
A clever b&w work.
Composition well balanced

Hi Werner,

I have never tried Kayaking as I'm bit hesitating doing it :P
You did a good job showing some under-bridge experience :)

The water under the bridge OR the bridge over the waters, gives a nice perspective and make an interesting subject. The criss-cross pattern of the wooden blocks make a nice architecture breakthrough in this work. The sharpness and DOF are well managed too. Great job on this one!

Hello Werner! Well composed shot, I like the diagonal lines and the texture of the water. The OE parts were inevitable I think, good idea to switch it to B&W. Well seen and done.

Hello Werner!

Very curious , old bridge, and tight framing created interesting effect.
Perfect details, light as well as sharpness.
I congratulate realization.!

With best wishes.
