Nothing fancy this time: just a simple picture of Thai silk fabric hanged in a store in Nan.

Look at the texture very closely. It is one of he most regal fabric I have seen in my life. The colors are wonderful.

Auto adjustments, USM.

Great set of colours Manuel. Nice shot!
Well done!

Beautiful colors and textures. I can feel the roughness of the textile. I am ambivalent about the frame though - it's too bold for the bold colors and competes with them.

The colors and texture are beautiful, and very well captured, Manny. The varying intensity of light on the cloth also enhances this one a lot. Great shot, and I'm looking forward to what the next part of the "texture" series will be.

no fency things needed here at all! this shot does it by itself, really like the bright colors and framing here...

You created a nice detailed border too, like that a lot and i think - when used right - such borders can add really something to a picture.

The colours are very crisp Manny and the structure of the fabric is well shown. I think this would have worked with a smaller aparature as well to have more of the fabric in direct focus. Especially the golded fabric showes the strucutre well.

A splash of colour :)

Textures are great, and so are the colors. It looks so simple, but it is so well captured and framed. Wonderful shot, Manny.

Oh this one nice Manuel - 1) I like the colours and textures you got on this fine capture. 2) I have spotted the same kind of motif and hopefully get the shot some day.

Thanks for sharing and Ok you beat me on this.

Excellent composition and colors.

Very nice photo Manuel, I like the colrs and textures. Good composition and nicelly framed.

Very clear textures, i can see the individual threads! I like the framing and colours, it lets us just focus on the material which i could almost touch its so clear. Great shot.

i thought for a minute it was shot at jim thompson in Bangkok;-) Funny enough my curtains at home were purchased out there in this blue and brown..;-)) I should buy some new one BTW, any tips? great shot; I love it too;-)

Excellent colours and texture, Manuel. You have it very well. The thick black frame matches the shadows between the different silks. Well seen.

Oh how a picture can spark off other sensory memories. Your Thai silk brought back sounds & smells of Thailand. The tips of my fingers are tingiling. Beautiful.
