[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My niece Iyah staring at someone maybe just wondering. picture taken when i went for vacation last november. i was just looking at my old files so that i can practice my pp skills and i stumbled on this photo.

pp
adjusted levels +5
duplicate layer
dodged and burned edges of "iyah"
desaturated the layer of "iyah" to -25
desaturated the layer "background" to -75
dodge the eyes and added a new layer and brushed with brown, blending mode color

Critiques [Translate]

Those 50mm lenses can be difficult for focus but you've done a good job here - it's sharp.

The only negative here really is that your niece's leading eye is turned mostly away from the camera - we can't really get a good view of it, and that does take something away from the shot.

PP work isn't what I'd choose to do but it gives this a unique and appealing flavour.

Lovely charming pose of your niece.

Nice lens to accomplish that DOF.
Agree with Rew about the eye.
Keep on practicing with PP, a lot of tools are great and you´re doing good job.

What a dear little girl your niece Iyah is.
Very nicely captured, and I love her expression and position of her hands.
