Jarabacoa is the central part of Dominican Republic, it´s highest peak is Pico Duarte (3087m) which is very much for this small island.

Thanks to the rainy weather and the big mountains a lot of rivers flow constantly from these hills towards the sea to feed with nutrients the shores.

The bridge´s primitive construction is somehow lovely but I guess only locals dare to use it.

The camera I used due to its short lens and tiny aperture (is not a Reflex) provides huge DOF.

Length: 6mm
Aperture: f/2,6
Time: 1/640s
ISO: 100
Settings: Manual mode
PP: Crop, boost slightly the saturation and contrast, resize for TL and sharpen.

Bonjour Galder

Très belle photo avec une superbe composition!!!
Belles couleurs,lumière...
J'avoue que je ne serais pas très rassurée pour traverser cette rivière sur ce pont rudimentaire...mais très esthétique!

Honestly I liked the bottom part of your shot.

Bonjour Galder.
Un pont où il ne faut pas traverser avec un verre d’alcool dans le nez.
Une bonne image insolite de cette construction de pont.
Bravo pour cette présentation.
Bonne journée.

Hello Galder! I like the vertical composition here. The exposure is very well done and the image is real sharp with that great dof. Good job my friend!

Hahaha Ice Eyez actually nailed it, without explaining why. Due mostly to the contrast, the lower part of the frame is more pleasing than the upper - which becomes a little washed in haze and lacking contrast. It is fixable in PS but actually cropping the shot down to its subject - the bridge across the stream - would be the most effective treatment IMO.
