Another shot from the abandoned house during photo walk with my son Michael. You could wonder who left the cup there by the window and what happened to the people who once lived here.

Hi Eileen,

Michael had a different POV, and this is also great shot.
Fine details.
All the best.

Hello Eileen,
My son has a theory about photography. He says that a photo may be well composed, have beautiful tonality, and clarity, but can lack something he calls a "hook", something that pulls your eye into the photo, that makes you really see it instead of just glance. This photo has the hook in the form of the cup with its questions. This is why I like this photo best of your three window photos. It reminds me of a Wyeth painting. Don't mistake me, the window photos are all beautiful, but this one grabs my attention. The only problem I have is the distraction in the form light through a hole in the wall at the upper right. I took the liberty of doing a workshop to clone it out, so you could see what I mean. Images are so much easier than words. I hope you don't mind.
Best regards,
Lois
