I took this picture on a night out - yes you guyz read it right! It was taken on my way back home from a night out. A friend of mine stays at the riverside where i had left my camera bag before heading out for a night out. When I returned to drop my friend off and collect my camera bag it was almost 3:45 am. A time very peaceful and with very low light, it was not even dawn and there were a good couple of hours before sunrise. I was intrigued to try out low light photography at long exposures and this is just that.

2250 metres in length, the Tay Road Bridge spans the estuary of the River Tay between Dundee and Newport on Tay.

It leads traffic directly onto the centre of Dundee and is mainly used by commuters. The bridge was designed by William A Fairhurst and was opened to traffic on 18th August 1966 having taken 4 years to build at a cost of approximately £5 million.

The cost of building the bridge today would be well over £100 million.

For me ur night out paid off :)

I particularly loved 2 things here :)

1- The Clear Blue sky
2- The Blue of bridge's underneath

An excellent use of f/14 and long exposure of 30 secs.
I can read ur Lens blades from the very 1st glowing light

The composition is good but in my opinion u may applied the ROT eliminating the clear blue sky a little and add the f/g more :)

Good one in ur gallery :)

Fantastic photograph here with great exposure control/accuracy and perfect time of day/light for taking the shot. The hues of blue/POV and composition are all excellent! Interesting notes too and TFS!

Merhaba Mustafa,
It interesting to shot the bridge.
Very beautiful playing of this range of blue with white reflections from light bulbs.
I warmly wish a "HAPPY NEW YEAR"! Health plenty and happiness.
Have a nice day,
